The police helicopter was called in this afternoon to help a woman and child who were stranded in Huddersfield.
The helicopter was called in at 2.50pm and swooped over the Leeds Road area for around 30 minutes before they were found on Dalton Bank.
The crew then tweeted out: “Assisting a female who had got into difficulty with a young child. Female located, officers guided in.”
Both the woman and child were OK.
