A DRIVER who left the scene of an accident in which a man was injured is being hunted by police.
The driver's red Ford Escort hit the back of a blue VW Passat on New North Road at its junction with Mountjoy Road, Edgerton, at 11.50am yesterday.
The Passat driver, a man from Lindley, suffered whiplash.
Police want to find the driver of the Fiesta, registration number R506 SSP.
He is white, in his late 20s to early 30s, over 6ft and very thin with long straggly hair.
Pc John Thompson, of Huddersfield traffic police, said: "The Fiesta was damaged at the front and at least one headlight was broken."
