Thugs armed with a baseball bat struck in Liversedge.

The three robbers attacked people in a house in Valley Road, hitting a teenager with the bat and also hitting another man with an iron.

The gang fled with a wallet and a mobile phone.

Police are appealing for witnesses after the men were assaulted and robbed in the house on Thursday evening.

The incident happened at 5.45pm when three men went to the property and knocked at the door before making their way inside.

One of the assailants had a baseball bat and all three demanded money and property. At the time of the incident the home owner had friends visiting.
