POLICE searching for an 82-year-old woman who went missing in bad weather two days ago have found a body.
Muriel Ellis, of Hipperholme, near Halifax, was last seen by a relative as she walked to the local Co-op store to buy a cake on Friday morning.
Police said they had “obvious concerns due to the adverse weather we’ve had”.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said later: “We have found the body of a female in the Halifax area. The body has not yet been formally identified.”
