Residents have complained in recent weeks about their growing fears over possible safety problems in the Alder Street area as a result of a number of streets lights not working.

They have complained about the problem, which is affecting lights on a short section of Alder Street, to Kirklees Council.

The council has said it is working to resolve the issue.
