Police enquiries are continuing after a woman was killed in a car tragedy in Cleckheaton.
The incident happened in the early hours of Sunday morning when the woman’s body was found under a parked car in Prospect Street. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 57-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and driving whilst over the prescribed limit and released on bail.
Det Chief Insp Adrian Taylor, senior investigating officer, said: “This investigation is in its early stages and we are still establishing the circumstances.
“We are keen to speak to anyone who was in the vicinity of Prospect Street around this time who has any information which could aid the on-going investigation.”
