POLICE are searching for an armed robber who threatened shop staff with a gun before making off with cash.
The attack happened at 5.25pm last Friday at premises on Halifax Road, Liversedge.
The male robber was wearing a motorcycle helmet and armed with what was believed to be a handgun.
He threatened shop staff and is thought to have fled as a passenger on the back of a motorbike with the cash from the till.
No shots were fired and no-one was injured. There were no customers in at the time.
Police are now appealing for witnesses. They are particularly keen to trace two men who were sitting on a moped or scooter on the pavement close to the premises shortly before the attack.
