Police seek witnesses after injured man found in Ilkley cattle trap

AN investigation has been launched after a man was found in a cattle trap suffering head injuries.

AN investigation has been launched after a man was found in a cattle trap suffering head injuries.

The 36-year-old Bradford resident was found in Ilkley at the junction of Crossbeck Road and Wells Road at about 5.30pm on Tuesday.

He was taken to Leeds General Infirmary for treatment and is now in a serious but stable condition there.

Detectives do not believe there are any suspicious circumstances, but think a number of passing motorists may have seen the incident. Contact Airedale and North Bradford CID on 0845 6060606.
