A POWER cut hit 2,750 homes in the Dalton, Moldgreen and Almondbury areas yesterday.
Kirkwood Hospice was also affected by the power cut at around 2.25pm.
A spokeswoman at electricity distributor YEDL said the loss of supply had been due to a cable fault on a high voltage underground cable. Power was restored to the final customers by 4pm.
