A PREGNANCY centre has launched an innovative fund raising scheme.
Huddersfield Pregnancy Crisis Centre has distributed baby feeding bottles so they can be filled with cash and returned to the centre.
The crisis centre, on Union Street, Northgate, Huddersfield, is in its tenth year and is one of the nominated charities for this year’s Examiner Charity Challenge.
Director, Jo Naylor, said: “As we celebrate 10 years of helping women and their families, there are more couples choosing to face a crisis pregnancy together and not apart.
“Men want to come in and talk to us about their concerns as well.
“It is encouraging that people recommend our services to friends and family.”
The centre gives advice and information to anyone facing a pregnancy crisis without judging them.
Along with counselling, the centre offers a baby equipment loan service and post-abortion advice.
The centre also helps people who are trying to come to terms with miscarriage.
