MORE than 1,700 people could have helped shape the future of a Saddleworth beauty spot.
They took part in a consultation by United Utilities and the RSPB to find out how visitors use Dovestone reservoir and what they wanted to see happen with it in future.
Peter Sharples, of United Utilities, said: “One thing is very certain – we have been left in no doubt about the pride and passion there is for Dove Stone.”
People who took part raised concerns about issues including the public toilets, littering and antisocial behaviour.
