A 16-year-old boy was arrested after an incident involving a knife at Fartown High School.
A pupil at the school suffered a cut hand at the school shortly after 9am yesterday.
The 16-year-old, from Dalton, does not attend the school.
He was arrested and has been released on police bail pending further inquiries.
The victim was only slightly hurt.
