RAM raiders attacked a Huddersfield garage - but all they took was an M-registered car.

The thieves reversed a large vehicle into roller shutter doors at Johnsons Toyota on Leeds Road, Huddersfield, at 1.10am yesterday.

They then drove off in a red Toyota Carina along with the ram-raid vehicle.

Both vehicles were last seen heading down Leeds Road towards Bradley. The Toyota - registration M272 LJV - was still missing today.

Pc Dave McSwee- ney, of Huddersfield police, appealed for anyone who had seen the vehicles on Leeds Road, or anyone finding the Toyota, to call Pc Mick Stocks on 01484 436659.
