A TEENAGER appeared in court charged with rape.
The 16-year-old from Dalton appeared via video link at Huddersfield Magistrates’ Court yesterday.
The teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was told his case was being committed to Bradford Crown Court.
He faces three charges of raping a girl under the age of 16.
He is also accused of a serious sex offence on a girl under 13 and three counts of attempting to pervert the course of justice. The teenager will appear at the crown court on May 4.
