A Rastrick man charged with the murder of his mother will make a second appearance in court today.

Nigel Constable, above, who is charged with the murder of his 79-year-old mother in Lincolnshire, first appeared in court at the weekend.

Constable, 51, of Sherburn Road, was remanded into custody at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court on Saturday.

He will appear before Lincoln Crown Court later today.

His mother Betty was taken to Lincoln County Hospital from her home in Merleswen, Dunholme, on Sunday, September 22, at around 11am.

She died on Tuesday morning but the cause of death has not been released.

Post-mortem tests have been carried out.
