A MAN appeared in court accused of breaching his bail conditions.

Dallas Texas Liburd, of Brownroyd Avenue in Rawthorpe, was accused of attacking his ex-partner Dayna Briggs.

Liburd denies this and faces crown court trial.

His bail conditions are that he does not contact the complainant, Miss Briggs, or her mother.

He is also banned from going within 100 metres of Savile Court in Milnsbridge. The 26-year-old was arrested for allegedly breaching these conditions on November 9.

Vanessa Schofield, prosecuting, told Kirklees magistrates that Liburd went to Miss Briggs’ apartment.

She said that her mother saw him banging on the window and then talking to his ex.

Liburd denied the breach, claiming that he was at home asleep at the time.

Magistrates accepted his version of events and readmitted him to conditional bail.

He will next appear before the Huddersfield court on January 3.
