The broken down lorry's been moved

The latest from our traffic partners Inrix:

All lanes open, broken down lorry removed on M62 Eastbound between J20 A627(M) Rochdale and J21 A640 (Milnrow).

Lane one (of three) was closed heading away from Manchester towards Leeds to assist a tyre change. Traffic remained congested because of a separate police incident that was closing two lanes over the Rakewood Viaduct just after J21.

Here's what we know so far

Two lanes of the M62 eastbound have been closed between junction 21 (Milnrow) and J22 (Rishworth Moor) due to a ‘police incident’.

In addition, there’s one lane closed eastbound between J20 (Rochdale) and J21 (Milnrow) due to a broken down lorry.

Understandably these incidents are slowing down traffic towards Manchester — we’ll bring you more on the police incident when we have it.
