THEY'RE forever associated with sun, sea and surfing.
Now the Beach Boys are set to be a little part of Meltham.
Village gala organisers are looking for a copy of one of the band's hit singles - Heroes and Villains, which will be the theme of this summer's annual carnival.
The song was a hit for the Beach Boys in 1967.
Gala chairman Shirley Watson said: "We'd be delighted to hear from anyone out there who has got it and is willing to loan it to us for the day."
The gala will be staged on Sunday, June 19, starting with a parade at noon from Meltham Mills Road.
Gala activities will be held at Broadlands recreation ground, off Mean Lane.
