A FEAST of traditional family festive fun will take place at Red House Museum's Christmas event.

The event - 200 Years of Christmas - is on Sunday December 18 from 1pm to 4pm.

It will include performances, music, activities and displays for all.

Christmas Victorian- Style in the old coach house will bring performances of carols by the Clifton Handbell Ringers.

Costumed staff will welcome visitors with a warm, spicy traditional mulled wine to sip as they listen.

And visitors can also meet Hannah the Housekeeper, an eccentric 19th- century Red House servant, who has Christmas anecdotes and some hilarious Victorian Christmas parlour games.

For those who enjoy a cosy Christmas sing-song, there will be communal carol singing.

Unusual toys and gifts will be available in the museum shop.

Admission and activities are free, but access to some activities is by stairs only.
