PLANS for a new block of flats in Elland are expected to be rejected.
Calderdale Council planning committee will discuss the application to convert a vacant industrial building off Westgate in the town centre, next Tuesday.
The plans are for 25 apartments over three blocks with about 35 parking spaces.
But a planning report says the proposal is considered to be premature and as such could lead to the site being left empty for some time.
Officers are recommending rejection of the plans.
