PROCESSIONS and services take place next Sunday as follows:
DENBY DALE - Service at Holy Trinity Methodist Church at 9.30am will be followed by a wreath-laying ceremony at the war memorial at 10.50 am.
DEWSBURY - A procession leaves the Town Hall at 10am for a service at Dewsbury Minster at 10.30am.
GOLCAR - At St John’s Church the Service of Remembrance is at 10am. At 11.15am the parade goes to the memorial in Jubilee Square with a wreath-laying and Last Post.
HOLMFIRTH - Holy Trinity Church’s service at 10.45am is followed by wreath-laying at the war memorial at midday.
HUDDERSFIELD - Procession leaves Victoria Lane at 10.30am for a 10.50am service at the Parish Church. There will then be a parade to Market Place, where the salute will be taken.
KIRKBURTON - The Parish Church service is at 10.30 am. Wreaths will be laid in the church and then at the war memorial.
MARSDEN - A parade leaves the Royal British Legion at 10.40am for the Cenotaph in Marsden Park for a wreath-laying ceremony and two minutes’ silence at 11am. The service at St Bartholomew’s Church is at 11.20am.
MELTHAM - The parade leaves Carlile Street at 10.30am for a service at St Bartholomew’s Church at 10.45am. Then there’s a parade from Greensend Road to Market Place for the salute to be taken on the library steps.
MIRFIELD - At 2pm a parade will leave Lowlands Road for the war memorial in Ings Grove Park.
SLAITHWAITE - The service in St James’s Church at 9.45am is followed by wreath-laying at the war memorial at 11am.
