A REWARD has been offered to try and catch criminals who raided a Huddersfield garage.
Thieves broke into Total garage on New Hey Road, Salendine Nook, at about 1am on January 2.
They forced their way into the kiosk before making off with hundreds of pounds worth of tobacco.
The Total company has now joined forces with Crimestoppers to put up £1,000 for information leading to the conviction of the offenders.
Total’s corporate communications manager, Kate Munro, said: “We will not tolerate incidents of this nature.
“The safety and security of staff and customers is an absolute priority for Total.
“The reward scheme is part of a number of measures being introduced by the company across the country to combat forecourt crime.”
She said the company was working with police to analyse CCTV footage.
