A REWARD to catch the `sick' yobs who killed and abused a cat has been doubled.
Carla Smith, 25, from Chickenley, Dewsbury, had given a £50 bounty to the RSPCA.
It has now been doubled to £100 by Sheepridge man Chris Wagstaff.
He said: "It is important the people who did this are caught. I hope the reward money will tempt someone to come forward with information."
The two are anxious that police catch the thugs who this week shot a tabby cat dead at Overthorpe Park in Thornhill.
They then set off a firework inside the animal.
