PAUL Hudson, the popular Look North weatherman, is calling on Huddersfield people to saddle up and enter the NSPCC’s Big Bike Ride.

The ride in aid of the children’s charity is now in its third year, and is one of the biggest family fundraising events in the calendar.

Paul said: “The Big Bike Ride is a brilliant opportunity for everyone to get into the fresh air, have a bit of fun and raise money for the NSPCC.”

Hundreds of people are expected to take up the challenge to help create a better future for the children of Huddersfield.

Many bike rides are being held across the country, but people can also organise their own.

Christine Saxon, of the NSPCC, said, “By taking part in The Big Bike Ride you will have a great opportunity to have fun, keep fit and at the same time help the charity to carry out its vital work in providing local services for children and families.”
