A WOMAN aged 84 who was hit by a car has died from her injuries.
Hilda Curtis was in collision with a black Mitsubishi Charisma on Wessenden Head Road, Meltham, at 11am on Saturday.
Police said the pensioner, who lived in Wessenden Head Road, was hit after striding out into the road between two parked cars.
The driver, a Meltham man, said he did not see her walk into the road.
The woman suffered serious leg injuries and was taken to Huddersfield Royal Infirmary. She died at 11.05am yesterday.
