A YOUNG man was robbed at knifepoint by thieves as he walked to a takeaway.
The 23-year-old victim was approached by two muggers on Victoria Road in Lockwood at around 9.15pm on Sunday.
They forced him into an alleyway, held a knife to his throat and demanded money.
They searched him and stole his wallet.
Both thieves are white and about 5ft 10ins tall
One is aged 21 to 25 and slim with tanned skin and short dark hair.
He wore a dark-coloured tracksuit and baseball cap.
His accomplice is aged 20 to 23 and skinny with a boney face, a spotty complexion and short dark hair.
He also wore dark sports clothes.
Another man was standing nearby who did not get involved with the robbery.
