SPECULATION is growing over whether Huddersfield actress Zoe Lucker is set to leave hit TV show Footballer's Wives.
Zoe, originally from Lindley, plays superbitch Tanya Turner.
When the show started just over two years ago its sex, scandal and glamour were an instant hit and 30-year-old Zoe was catapulted to fame.
She will be filming until autumn for the fourth series, due to be aired after next January.
But stories in the national Press say viewers could see her for just a few episodes before she leaves the series.
A spokeswoman for Shed Productions, which makes Footballer's Wives, said: "We are playing our cards very close to our chest. Zoe will be in the next series, but we are not saying for how long. We want to surprise people - and we have got a big surprise in store."
Zoe has been experimenting with new projects.
She featured in three episodes of ITV prison drama Bad Girls in May.
In a unique crossover, she played her Footballer's Wives character, who had been jailed for possession of Class A drugs.
Zoe is also set to take on a role in a new drama by Shed Productions.
Bombshell is a drama about Army life on and off the parade ground.
The Shed Productions spokeswoman said: "She plays a character a million miles away from Tanya Turner."
Filming for Bombshell starts in late summer, just before filming ends for Footballer's Wives.
