SAINSBURY'S is thinking again over plans to extend its store at Shore Head in Huddersfield.

The company is reconsidering after planners said they were unhappy at the loss of parking spaces.

An application for planning approval due to be voted on by councillors yesterday was withdrawn at the last minute.

Sainsbury's wanted to build a 16,000sq ft extension on the site of the store's petrol station.

The store chain planned to move the filling station to the nearby former Shell petrol station site.

Thirty-nine parking spaces for customers' would have been lost in the changes.
