PEOPLE will be able to sign up for Sunday’s charity Santa Dash in comfort.
Organisers now have an empty shop on the Piazza next to M&S in Huddersfield town centre for people to check-in from 9.45am.
Huddersfield Giants will be leading a warm-up session before the dash around Huddersfield town centre starts at 10.30am from Mandela Corner.
People can still register on the day itself for £10 – and get a free Santa suit.
The event has been organised by Huddersfield, Meltham and Holme Valley Lions and people taking part can raise money for charities or good causes of their choice. The Lions have set up the event so all people have to do is register, take part and raise the cash.
It is open to adults and children.
Among the charities taking part is the Laura Crane Youth Cancer Trust.
