SANTA arrived in style at Emley First School’s Christmas fair.

But instead of his usual mode of transport he arrived in a 1901 Cadillac!

The festive event, organised by the school’s PTA, attracted hundreds of people.

There were a variety of stalls, offering crafts, jewellery, Christmas gifts, toys, and cakes.

The big attraction was, of course, the arrival of Santa, who wowed children and parents alike with his stylish entrance.

PTA secretary Julie Hayes estimated that the event raised about £800, which will go towards school funds.

She added: “It went really well; there was a lovely atmosphere and there were a lot of people there from the whole community.

“The arrival of Santa made the event extra special and the children were really excited to see him. People really liked the fact that he came in such an unusual vehicle.”
