It will make frightening viewing for anyone concerned about the threat to close Huddersfield's A&E.

Gordon Wilkinson, of Huddersfield, filmed part of the gridlock traffic towards Calderdale Royal Hospital during rush hour on Wednesday evening.

In the video, he records his drive from the bottom of Salterhebble Hill along the A629, highlighting the traffic jam on the other side of the carriageway.

At the end of the clip he even spots a ambulance, sirens blaring, trying to push its way through.

In the video, he says: "Oh, and lo and behold, here we have an ambulance trying to get through. Good luck!"

We will be supporting the campaigners working tirelessly across Huddersfield and we will use our influence to increase the pressure on the health chiefs who proposed the sweeping changes.
