A HOLME Valley school is celebrating after being presented with a healthy award.
Upperthong Junior and Infant School has been awarded the Healthy School Gold Award by Kirklees Council.
The school has worked hard over the last two years to improve its school meals menu and also encourage the pupils to eat healthily and take more exercise.
It has also changed to using local food suppliers.
