TEACHERS hoping to take pupils to Bagshaw Museum in Batley will have to book early to avoid disappointment.
For even before the schools restart next month, virtually all the autumn term slots have been booked by schools.
"We've only three days left and they are just before the break for Christmas," said museum officer Kathryn White.
"We've also already got quite a few bookings for the spring term. So the message to teachers is to plan well ahead and book early."
Bagshaw Museum - which holds a Sandford Award for excellent educational provision - has two available sessions a day, five days a week.
These are booked by schools for either half day or full day visits.
With class sizes averaging 30, it means the museum runs educational sessions for about 300 youngsters a week during term time.
Schools from all over the North go to Bagshaw for its educational sessions.
