A scooter rider was injured in a road crash in Salendine Nook last night.
Police were called at around 9.10pm to the junction of Wilmar Drive and New Hey Road following a collision between an Audi A3 and a Vespa.
The 47-year-old male rider of the Vespa was taken to Leeds General Infirmary with a non-life threatening back injury.
Officers closed the road at the junction while the Vespa was recovered and investigating work was carried out at the scene.
The road was re-opened just before 10pm.
