TWO men charged with the murder of a Scottish teenager are due to appear in court today.
Anthony David Driver, 36, and Luke Aaron Elliott, 22, are to stand trial at Leeds Crown Court for the murder of 19-year-old Craig Hepburn.
The case was set to start yesterday but due to further evidence being served, Judge Peter Collier QC, adjourned the case until today at 3pm.
Mr Hepburn from Linwood, near Paisley was stabbed to death in Marsden in the early hours of July 7.
A second teenager, Connor Paton, 18, was left seriously wounded in hospital.
He underwent emergency surgery before returning home to Scotland.
The two friends had been visiting relatives of Mr Hepburn in the Colne Valley.
Both defendants pleaded not guilty to the murder of Craig Hepburn and the attempted murder of Connor Paton at an earlier hearing.
The accused men spoke only to confirm their names yesterday.
The trial is expected to last three weeks.
In the aftermath of the tragedy Marsden and Linwood communities raised thousands of pounds in memory of the talented piper who had been training to be a nurse.
