SAVOURY pancakes, chicken and fresh fruit salad were on the menu in an annual cooking competition.
Huddersfield South West District Scouts held the event at Golcar Scout group's headquarters and 12 teams from the Colne Valley took part.
Matthew Leslie and Jack Bailey from the 9th Huddersfield, Crosland Hill pack were the winners. They created a meal after being given a bag of goodies and were asked to cook up a three-course extravaganza.
Second place went to the 27th Huddersfield, Longwood Scouts and the 17th Huddersfield, Linthwaite group were third.
Matthew and Jack will now go on to represent the district at the West Yorkshire County cooking competition.
