THE hunt is on for Lions.

Huddersfield Lions Club is trying to track down former members.

The club wants to invite them to its 50th anniversary dinner celebrations in April.

Club president Jane Armitage said: "We are hoping the Examiner can help us find people we've lost.

"We want to invite everyone who has been a member to join us for our celebrations."

The first Lions clubs were founded in 1917. Membership is open to men and women over 21.

They spend their time raising cash from the public.

This is then distributed by clubs to good causes in their own areas.
