MEMBERS of Hipperholme and Lightcliffe Art Society had a visit from Halifax watercolourist Jane Gamble.
She demonstrated atmospheric sea- scapes based on the Suffolk coast.
The society's meetings are held at Brighouse Rest Centre at 7.30pm on Tuesdays.
At the next meeting there will be a workshop combined with a display of the winning portraits in the club's art challenge competition.
On May 22 Huddersfield artist Linda Hollingshead will be giving an acrylic demonstration.
