A SELL-OUT Last Night of the Proms event raised cash for Huddersfield’s Lawrence Batley Theatre.
About 400 people attended the evening which was organised by Pat France, of the Friends of the LBT.
“It was a very successful evening, enjoyed by all those who attended,” said Mrs France.
The concert was organised for the second year running.
It included the Kirklees Youth Symphony Orchestra and Colne Valley Male Voice Choir.
The Year 6 singers from Almondbury Junior School also took part, directed by Peter Simons.
The guest soloist was Judith Sims, accompanied by Kim Kaye.
The main conductor was Thom Meredith, the principal conductor with Kirklees Music School.
