A SECOND tragedy has hit a quiet part of Dalton.
Hours after a man was found dead in his home in Long Lane, his elderly neighbour died in hospital.
But police are satisfied there are no links between the two deaths.
The man who died after a blaze at his home on Christmas Day night was identified today as 46-year-old Mr Duncan Ingham, a father of two.
He worked as a prison officer at Armley Jail, Leeds, and was marreid to Nadine.
An inquest is expected to open later this week.
The neighbour who died was Marjorie Hall, an elderly woman who lived alone.
She was taken to the Royal Infirmary on Boxing Day but sadly died later in hospital.
Police are awiating results of medical tests to determine the cause of her death.
But Det Insp Sam Cook said there did not appear to be any links with the death of Mr Ingham or the fire at his home.
