A BURGLAR who stole goods worth over £15,000 in a string of raids was jailed yesterday.
Phillip Dyson, 35, was told the 15-month sentence would start after a 21-month sentence he is already serving for another burglary.
Bradford Crown Court was told that Dyson broke into a terraced house in Birkby last August.
He stole various electrical items, a gold chain and some cash.
The Recorder of Bradford, Judge Stephen Gullick, heard that the woman victim was not in at the time.
But she was left deeply upset and had moved house because she no longer felt safe.
Dyson, of Lynndale Avenue, Birkby, was arrested after fingerprints at the crime scene were found to be his.
He appeared at court via video link from prison.
Dyson pleaded guilty to burglary and asked for another five similar offences to be considered.
The court was told Dyson had had a drug addiction for half his life, but was now making efforts to `get himself clean'.
Judge Gullick warned him that if he committed another burglary he would be liable to a minimum sentence of three years.
