A HOSPITAL trust is inviting bereaved families to pay tribute to their babies who have died.

A special service is being held by Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Trust at Calderdale Royal Hospital, Halifax, on March 20 - Palm Sunday - to commemorate babies lost before, during or soon after birth.

The annual service invites parents and other family members to read poems and talk about their children.

Palm crosses are also created in their names and included in an arrangement of remembrance.

Anybody wishing to participate in the service is asked to contact Martin on (01422) 224220.

Those unable to attend who would like their child to be remembered at the service are asked to ring maternity reception on (01422) 224125 or 224470 from March 14.
