SHANNON Matthews may never return to her school, it is claimed.
Sources claim the nine-year-old, who was missing from her Dewsbury home for 24 days, has been moved away from the Kirklees local authority and might not be coming back.
They said the little girl would almost certainly not be back on the register at Westmoor Junior School.
She had been on a swimming trip with the school on the day of her disappearance.
Because of the investigation into Shannon's disappearance it is unlikely she will attend school with her friends again.
It is believed the nine-year-old may stay with foster parents and not return to Dewsbury Moor for the foreseeable future.
Shannon’s mother Karen Matthews has been charged with neglect and with perverting the course of justice and has been remanded in custody.
Michael Donovan, uncle of Karen’s partner Craig Meehan, is in custody charged with kidnap and abduction.
