HUNDREDS of bikers are ready to rev up for a charity ride in memory Adrian Sudbury, above.

Former Examiner journalist Adrian lost his fight against leukaemia in 2008.

But he inspired thousands through his Baldy’s Blog and set up his own campaign, Register and Be a Lifesaver, to educate more people about all forms of donation.

Now motorcyclists will be riding through the Yorkshire countryside raising money for the Anthony Nolan charity. It finds donors for people in need of potentially life-saving bone marrow transplants.

The event is the ‘Av’ It For Adrian’ ride, to mirror a biker group motto.

It takes place on July 31 and travels from Squire’s cafe in Sherburn-in-Elmet to Hawes in Wensleydale.

Each biker will pay £10 and there will also be collections.
