A VANDALISED bus shelter in Marsden will be removed.
Metro has decided after months of complaints that the shelter in Dirker Drive should go.
Teenagers have used the shelter for a meeting place. This has annoyed local people.
Metro is taking the elderly shelter down through the summer months to gauge public opinion. A useage survey will also to be done.
A spokesman said Metro had received many letters regarding the shelter, which had been regularly vandalised.
Clr Dorothy Lindley has said she would be pleased if it was moved.
She said she hoped a young people's shelter, due to be built near the old goods yard, off Station Road, would ease the problem of youths meeting there.
