A CHARITY shop is appealing for volunteer helpers.
The appeal has come from Peter Laird, who runs the Oxfam shop at Huddersfield Road, Mirfield.
He said: "The shop is 13,000sq ft and is the second-largest Oxfam shop in the country.
"It also has the highest takings of any of our shops.
"But at the moment, there are two of us running it and we need more helpers."
Mr Laird added: "We would also like more donations of items for sale, particularly bric-a-brac."
Attractions at the store include Santa's Grotto, which is open until Christmas Eve.
