JEWELLER Signet said its H Samuel and Ernest Jones shops lifted same-store sales by 1.2% in the quarter to April 28.
However, operating losses widened to £1.9m due to currency movements and promotions.
Signet has 334 H Samuel and 197 Ernest Jones stores in the UK and 1,300 outlets in the USA.
