Singers being sought for Sheffield showpiece

A CALL has gone out for voices to fill one of the region's biggest performance arenas.

A CALL has gone out for voices to fill one of the region's biggest performance arenas.

National singing company Sing Live is staging `1000 Voices at the Arena' on Saturday June 10 at the Hallam FM Arena, Sheffield.

However, weekly rehearsals are about to start for the grand event to celebrate jointly the 80th birthday of Her Majesty the Queen and the 85th birthday of the Royal British Legion, and many more singers are needed.

There is no audition to join with all over 16s welcomed whether experienced or beginner.

Only a modest fee is charged for the three months of vocal training.
