The sister of a Holme Valley vicar has vanished in London.

Now desperately worried Rev Liam Beadle of St Mary’s Church in Honley has issued a plea through social media for his sister Esther to contact the family.

He said: “As you can imagine we are all very, very anxious indeed. No-one has heard from Esther since she went missing on Friday.”

Esther is a journalist who trained at the Press Association, and the Rev beadle described her as “warm, bubbly and friendly.”

He added: “If Esther wants to get in touch with us nothing would please us more. We are desperately worried about her and love her very much.”

Rev Beadle also took to Twitter to spread the message of his missing sister in the hope it might reach the right person.

The tweet said: “As you can imagine we are desperately worried about my dear sister Esther Beadle. Please pray for her safety and that she will get in touch.”

Esther, who is an assistant news editor at the Oxford Mail, was reported missing from her home at around 10pm on Friday. She now lives in London.
