The sister of a Holme Valley vicar who vanished has been found safe and well.

Esther Beadle, a journalist on the Oxford Mail, was last seen leaving her home in Oxford at 10pm on Friday.

A massive social media campaign was launched to track her down by her friends and colleages.

The Rev Liam Beadle, of St Mary’s Church in Honley, described his sister as “warm, bubbly and friendly.”

But on Sunday evening Thames Valley Police made contact with her and later tweeted: “We can confirm that Esther Beadle who was reported missing from Oxford has been found safe.

Thank you everyone for your concern.”
